Research Biography
I received her B.S. degree in earth, society, and environmental sustainability in 2016 and her M.S. degree in Plant Biology in 2019 from the University of Illinois. From 2013-2018, I competed as a varsity member of the Fighting Illini Cross Country and Track & Field team. I am a Big 10 Conference track champion and was awarded the Big 10 Medal of Honor. I am presently pursuing a PhD in the Crop Science department in Dr. Jim Holland’s lab working on genomic selection for adaptation of tropical maize to temperate environments.
