Research

The objective of my research is to provide precise estimates of QTL positions to aid in the identification of the genes underlying quantitative resistance to Southern corn leaf blight. I have evaluated the maize Nested Association Mapping population, a set of recombinant inbred lines derived from crosses between inbred B73 and 25 other diverse founder inbred lines. I have also performed a joint analysis of four independent populations derived from a B73 by Mo17 cross.
