Research

Find and characterize the proteins interacting with NtMyc2a transcription factors in tobacco. Those proteins are hopefully involved in nicotine biosynthesis pathway and will have a potential to affect nicotine accumulation. Once those proteins are identified and verified in vitro, I will make transgenic tobacco lines with altered nicotine content.
