Research
My project is a quantitative trait loci (QTL) analysis of two genetically connected populations. The primary objectives of this project are to 1) detect and validate QTL associated with protein content, amino acids and protein subunits, 2) determine if the high protein sources of the two populations contain the same QTL affecting high protein and 3) determine significant QTL by environmental effects and stability of QTL.
