Research
My current research focus is on increasing selection intensity within loblolly pine breeding programs by assessing the relationship between unique patterns of family gene expression and parental breeding values gathered from progeny test data. The goal is to assess the stability and reliability of using gene expression data to gather insight on how parents may perform when progeny tested in the field.
