Potato Breeding Program

The potato breeding program at NC State develops and screens new varieties, advanced clones, and germplasm for materials better suited for North Carolina and the Southeastern U.S. These efforts are achieved through collaborations with the USDA-ARS, Cornell University, and the University of Maine, as well as other breeding programs across the country.
