Cotton
Germplasm lines with improved yield, quality, and stress tolerance
The cotton breeding program at NC State aims to broaden the genetic diversity of cotton by using genetic and genomic tools to help develop profitable and sustainable crops.
The cotton breeding program develops cotton germplasms with the following traits:
- Improved yield and quality
- Disease and insect resistance
- Hybrid vigor
- Polyploidy
Cotton germplasm lines released since 2010
