Mountain Merit is a hybrid tomato with a very robust disease package that has been adapted to vine-production in North Carolina.

• Resistant to fruit cracking and weather check
• Smooth blossom end scars
• Growth habit: determinate, vigorous
• Shape: deep oblate to flattened globe
• Texture: very firm

Mountain Merit is resistant to:

• Late blight
• Gray leaf spot
• Nematodes
• Tomato Spotted Wilt Virus (TSWV)
• Fusarium wilt races 1, 2, and 3
• Verticillium wilt

Mountain Merit is the F1 hybrid of NC 1 CELBR and NC 123S.
