Research
My project uses bioinformatics to scan constitutive soybean gene promoters to determine novel motifs. The motifs will then be combined in varying orders to design synthetic promoter sequences to enhance gene expression. The overarching goal of this is to use these synthetic promoters to enhance expression of a variety of different native genes to improve soybean crops.
